Holy Cross Wilderness, CO
Camping above 11,000 feet in Colorado's Holy Cross wilderness is a sublime experience. On this beautiful summer evening, my partner and I enjoyed some dehydrated camping grub while taking in this magnificent sunset from a high alpine tarn at the head of Cross Creek. Looking out from this vantage point, we took in the popular Missouri Lakes and Fancy Pass saddles from an entirely empty backcountry perch. The golden light and especially clear air made for an unforgettable experience I am excited to share with you!
