Baja, Mexico
Azure blue water surrounded by the rugged and colorful desert landscape of Baja California del Sur make Balandra one of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches. I found this viewpoint by scouring maps prior to my arrival and began hiking in the dark from a waypoint I had identified earlier. The weather was moody this entire week but on this morning in particular the sky was brilliant, providing a rare contrast in this sun soaked corner of the world!
