Finding a land based view of the tip of Baja where I could get close enough to create this panoramic image was not very straightforward. First hiking up and down Medano Beach with a heavy backpack full of camera equipment yielded somewhat disappointing results. I found that the view of the El Arco was obscured from most angles. I decided to try a different area and left my hotel early to catch first light on the arch. This peninsula known as Land’s End is truly a remarkable spot geographically speaking. An invisible line dividing a calmer Sea of Cortez from the open Pacific Ocean!
