Medano Beach is world famous for its long stretch of golden sands with a host of luxury resorts overlooking Land’s End, the tip of the Baja. Each evening many boats leave the harbor and take guests on sunset cruises around these rocks which can be a great activity. I was looking for unobstructed views of El Arco from shore but instead found that the view was largely obscured from Medano. Unwilling to accept a total loss, I photographed this scene capturing some very soft and pleasing light on the rocks surrounding the arch without any boats in view! Two Seas separated by ancient rocks formed millions of years ago.
